New call centre opens in England

These days, a rising number of offices feature network call recording and hosted predictive dialler technology and one working space that may well contain such provisions has opened up in the north-west of England.

New Call Telecom has relocated its customer service operations from New Delhi in India to Simonstone, which is located in the Ribble Valley area of east Lancashire.

The firm is led by former Burnley College student Nigel Eastwood, Pendle Today reports. According to the news source, the business is the fastest growing home phone and broadband provider for it size in the UK and it was set up 18 months ago.

Commenting on the decision to relocate the centre, the businessman said: “New Call has bases in New Delhi, London, and Glasgow, but one of my key aims when I was involved in the management buyout was to grow the business in the north-west, hence the opening of our office in Simonstone.”

He added that shifting its base to the Lancashire village has enabled the firm to “tap into the local workforce and help to put people on the career ladder”. Mr Eastwood went on to point out that the enterprise has worked with Burnley College to create a training academy where staff members can complete qualifications in customer service.”

Also, the business is looking at how it can help to get the long-term unemployed back into work, he stated.

“We are looking forward to growing New Call in the north-west and showing people the fantastic career options available to them on their doorstep,” he concluded.

Many organisations like New Call are keen to make the most of the best technology available to boost their productivity. As part of this, a considerable number are utilising network call recording and hosted predictive dialler provisions and other such things.
