Porcelain Floor Tiles, the perfect addition to a designer home!

When we upgraded our bathroom we chose a selection of Porcelain Floor Tiles to use as part of the project, we wanted to create the ultimate designer setting. Porcelain Floor Tiles are the ideal option to use in bathrooms and kitchens, they look gorgeous and are very easy to maintain. I actually thought it would be easy to choose Porcelain Floor Tiles, little did I realise at just how much variety there is on the market sector at the moment. It took us quite a while to decide on the exact shade and style of Porcelain Floor Tiles but once we had made the final decision we both knew we’d made the perfect choice from a supplier of Commercial Floor Tiles.

Pricing up Porcelain Floor Tiles

There’s no standard price for Porcelain Floor Tiles each project is different and the cost of the tiles varies depending on their size. Normally you are charged per square metre for Porcelain Floor Tiles if you decide to go ahead and fit them yourself. We selected mid-range Porcelain Floor Tiles for our project, they weren’t the dearest option by any means but they didn’t come from the bargain basement either. The style we opted for was suitable for walls and floors so we kitted our bathroom out with co-ordinating wall tiles and Porcelain Floor Tiles that helped to give the room plenty of wow factor.

Fitting Porcelain Floor Tiles

Initially I was going to lay the Porcelain Floor Tiles myself, I’m not shy when it comes to DIY and thought this was one project I could handle with ease. However, on speaking to a few people that were knowledgeable about fitting Porcelain Floor Tiles they recommended that I got a professional in to tackle the project. There’s too much at stake if you try to fit Porcelain Floor Tiles on your own, what looks like a smooth surface can actually turn into a proper nightmare. I didn’t want to take any chances so I asked the company who supplied our tiles to fit them as well; they were called Amalfi Tiles and sold a fabulous range of domestic and Commercial Floor Tiles.
